Driveway extortion.

Thanks to some ridiculous ordinance that claims all private property you own from your home to the street is somehow actually public property, residents in Washington DC are getting tickets for parking in their own driveways. If they don’t want to be ticketed for parking in a driveway that they ALREADY OWN, they are told they can lease the space from the city. WHAT?
