National Firearms Museum
We stayed in Fairfax for our recent visit to Virginia and the Nation’s Capital. It was much cheaper than staying in the District and parking was free. Of course that meant we had to drive to a Metro Park & Ride, and get stuck in the awful traffic that seems to permanently plague 66, but our location also led us to an unexpected discovery… the National Firearms Museum.

Washington DC City Council approved legislation to stop abridging citizens’ Constitutional right to keep and own handguns. The Second Amendment Lives!
This is a great day for America. Its sad that this issue had to be brought to the Supreme Court in the first place, as the right to bear arms is paramount to maintaining a free citizenry protected from an overbearing government.

If I can afford and am willing to be trained, I should be able to own an M-1 tank and park it in my back yard. I FIRMLY believe that, *AND* I believe the second amendment affords me that right.
