Speaker Nancy Pelosi feigned tears yesterday as she tried to equate 9-12, TEA Party and ObamaCare protesters with the assassinations of Harvey Milk and Mayor George Moscone in San Fransisco in 1978.  I guess everyone who doesn’t agree with her and speaks up on behalf of our nation is supposed to be a violent homophobic sociopath one step away from double homicide.  Never mind there is NO EVIDENCE to suggest such a charge.

In fact, there were no arrests at the 9-12 March on Washington. Somewhere between a few hundred thousand and a million-plus people were there and not a single person was arrested during the protest.  When was the last time you could say that about a large liberal protest?  Likewise, there has been no reported violence from TEA Parties or Town Hall Protests except for the SEIU thugs who pummeled a black conservative.  Oh, and there was that incidence with the ObamaCare supporter provoking a protester and then biting his finger off.

The most egregious thing Pelosi and her ilk can point to from the opposition is Congressman Joe Wilson’s “You Lie!” outburst directed at President Obama who was at best being disingenuous and at worst actually lying.  Let’s not forget the President had just called the opposition liars as well, but I guess respect for the office and proper decorum only goes one way.

Nancy Pelosi is once again showing how out of touch with reality she really is.  She supports outbursts from the left, but calls outbursts from ObamaCare opponents un-American.  She calls the CIA liars for her own political purposes, and herself called the previous President a liar and worse.  She has no problem ratcheting up the rhetoric when it serves her goals, but everyone else should just shut up.

It’s time Speaker Pelosi shut up.  The American people deserve better.  We are not racists, we are not violent, and we are not wrong.  We are patriots and we are taking our country back.
