Barack Obama and Pay Equity

Obama/Biden and their surrogates have attacked McCain as against pay equity for women since Sarah Palin was named to the ticket. There are all kinds of reasons why pay equity legislation has been faulty in the past, so instead of looking at them on their soapboxes, how about you look at their actual practices. The best way to judge someone’s character and values is to see how they act when they think no one is looking.

McCain-Palin: A Winning Ticket

McCain-Palin: A Winning Ticket

It’s the talk of the political town today as John McCain chooses Alaska governor Sarah Palin as his running mate. McCain officially announced his choice just a few hours ago in Dayton, OH.

No Surprise: Obama Misrepresents and Media Doesn’t Correct

Keeping your tires inflated is certainly a good thing, very few people will disagree. John McCain doesn’t disagree, neither do I. So when John McCain said “I agree with the American Automobile Association. We should all inflate our tires,” Barack Obama jumped on this as if it was some sort of flip flop. Of [...]

Funniest Campaign Commercial Ever.

Paris Hilton enters the race and the McCain campaign provides a perfect response.

McCain VP Rumors in overdrive

…and Sarah Palin is still in the mix. Of all the names mentioned still in contention (Governor Romney, Governor Pawlenty, Senator Liberman even), Governor Palin sure has my vote.

Breaking Symbolism with Substance. [UPDATED]

The media is speculating (thanks to some innuendo or planned leaks no doubt) that John McCain will announce his running mate this week. Speculation is further fueled by recent visits with Rudy Giuliani and Mitt Romney, and even a planned visit to Louisiana, home of Governor Bobby Jindal. The speculation is great because it actually buys McCain a little airtime amongst the Barack Obama lovefest that has the media all hot and bothered. But if this rumor turns out to be true and an announcement is made this week, is it really good timing?

Hero or Zero? The Choice is Clear.

Our Latest Design in our Barack Obama Contrast Series is “Hero or Zero, The Choice is Clear“. John McCain is an American hero, who risked everything fighting for our country and has devoted his life to public service. John McCain’s accomplishments are numerous, be it from his time in the military to his [...]

Hop Onboard the Straight Talk Express

With Barack Obama flip-flopping on everything from the Iraq War to Hip Hop, its becoming obvious that McCain’s tried and true “Straight Talk Express” campaign might actually start paying off.
In Honor of the Straight Talk Express, we’ve designed a new Straight Talk Express t-shirt. Check it out.

Proud at the Primary

As a North Carolinian, my voice will finally be heard. Its been a long time since the Presidential race began… too long in fact, but today the race finally came to North Carolina. North Carolina doesn’t have an open primary, if your voter registration lists a party affiliation, you can only vote in [...]

Write-In Fred.

If Romney drops out of the race, or it becomes painfully obvious that McCain is a lock, it will become even more important to Write-In Fred Dalton Thompson if your state’s primary is coming up. Almost half of the country has voted, but there is another half to go. If the Republican Party [...]

The power of half.

Today, virtually half of the nation has the chance to do something for the country. Half of our country is called on to be patriots. Half of our citizens have the option of sacrificing a brief moment of their time and perform their civic duty for the greater good. Its Super Tuesday, [...]

Conservatives, Its Time to Speak Up,

Mark Levin has written a wonderful piece about John McCain and why Conservatives need to speak up now. Below is an excerpt, read the whole thing here.
There are other reasons to speak out now, and loudly, against a McCain candidacy — before it is too late for the movement and the party. Do we [...]

The Results Are In: The GOP Race is Wide-Open

Fred Thompson’s Campaign Manager, Bill Lacy, released this statement following the Michigan Primary. I’m glad he has the guts to articulate what many conservatives are feeling. We need to make the differences clear, if you pay attention only one man in this race is consistent with their ideals. Don’t we need someone [...]

New Hampshire

Sports fans across the country stayed up to watch the LSU Tigers deny the Ohio State Buckeyes the national title (OSU also made it to the Championship game last year only to lose to Florida). While a large number of us were debating the BCS system and LSU’s two losses this season… the political [...]

Thoughts on the Top 5

I’ve been struggling as of late with just who to support. It is a blessing to have such strong Republican prospects for the nomination… but with such an important election ahead (aren’t they all), it is imperative that the decision of who to support isn’t taken lightly. If the choice of the other [...]
