Obama’s ad attacking himself, or as I like to call it… Lies and the lying liar who tells them.
h/t: The Jawa Report
First all criticism of Barack Obama was racist. Now, if you criticize his ideas of socialism and don’t want to pay higher taxes to “spread the wealth around,” then you are “selfish“.
You know who is selfish? People like Joe Biden who makes hundreds of thousands of dollars off the backs of the American people and give less than 0.3% of that income to charity.
You know who is selfish? People like Barack Obama, a millionaire who claims to be his brother’s keeper, while his own brother lives in a shack in a violent town on less than $1 a month, and his aunt and uncle live in depravity.
You know who is selfish? People like Barack Obama and Joe Biden who want to take, by force, the money I have earned and hand it out to someone who didn’t earn it.
You know who is selfish? People like Barack Obama who says our troops are air raiding villages and killing civilians in order to propel his own desires for power. People like Barack Obama who vote to cut off funding for the troops in order to win over his left wing base to garner his party’s nomination. Living off the freedom of American troops and belittling their sacrifice for political gain is selfish.
…
You know who isn’t selfish? Hard working Americans who want to keep the fruits of their labor because they believe they can do more good with it than the federal government can.
I work hard to give my fair share to charity and my church, how dare Barack Obama call me selfish.
I used to own a business that employed people and offered them health care. Their income and benefits enabled them to put food on their table and pay their bills. How dare Barack Obama call me selfish.
I had to close my business because of the current economic environment, but I understand it is not the government’s fault nor is it their place to give me a handout. The American Dream is not the redistribution of wealth but the ability to earn it without impediment. How dare Barack Obama call me selfish.
John McCain spent five years in a POW camp where he was beaten daily. He has sacrificed more for this country than Barack Obama can ever understand. How dare Barack Obama call John McCain selfish.
Sarah Palin opted to give birth to a Downs Syndrome baby while Barack Obama supports allowing them to suffer and die. He thinks a pregnancy is “punishment“. How dare he call Sarah Palin selfish.
…
I am not a racist, I am not selfish, and I am not voting for Barack Obama.
It’s that fundamental belief — I am my brother’s keeper, I am my sister’s keeper — that makes this country work. It’s what allows us to pursue our individual dreams, yet still come together as a single American family.
Those words were spoken by Barack Obama as he accepted the nomination for President from the Democratic National Convention.
He also said something similar at the Saddleback Forum in August.
I think America’s greatest moral failure in my lifetime has been that we … still don’t abide by that … basic precept in Matthew that: ‘whatever you do for the least of my brothers, you do for me.’ And that notion of — that basic principle applies to poverty. It applies to racism and sexism. It applies to, you know, not … thinking about providing ladders of opportunity for people to get into the middle class.
I mean, there’s a pervasive sense, I think, that this country, as wealthy and powerful as we are, still don’t spend enough time thinking about the least of these.
His aunt, uncle and brother surely qualify under that premise as “the least of us” but what has Barack Obama done to help them? Has he followed the “basic precept in Matthew that whatever you do for the least of my brothers, you do for me,” or is it just talk? Is he really his “brother’s keeper” or is he expecting to take the income earned by the hard work of the American taxpayer, and spread the wealth around? If he is not willing to do it with his own money, why should he do it with ours?
Barack Obama last met his Kenyan half-brother, George Hussein Onyango Obama, in 2006. George Obama said, “It was very brief, we spoke for just a few minutes. It was like meeting a complete stranger.” George lives “in a hut in a ramshackle town of Huruma on the outskirts of Nairobi.” George tells reporters of his difficult life in Kenya:
“Huruma is a tough place, last January during the elections there was rioting and six people were hacked to death. The police don’t even arrest you they just shoot you.
“I have seen two of my friends killed. I have scars from defending myself with my fists. I am good with my fists.”
If Obama is his “brother’s keeper,” what has he done to help his brother George? The man lives in a tiny hut in a violent town on less than a dollar a month. Instead of offering him a hand up as a multi-millionaire brother should do, Barack Obama only met with him for a few minutes and went on his way. Barack Obama didn’t mind using his brother in his books to further his own wealth, but he doesn’t seem to care much about returning the favor or helping his brother out.
And George isn’t the only proof that Barack Obama has failed in his “fundamental belief” of being his brother’s keeper. Barack Obama’s aunt and uncle have also recently been found, in the United States instead of Kenya, yet Obama clearly hasn’t bothered to help them either. Obama talks about his aunt glowingly in his book, but is he really acting as if he believes he is his “brother’s keeper”?
Zeituni Onyango, the aunt so affectionately described in Mr Obama’s best-selling memoir Dreams from My Father, lives in a disabled-access flat on a rundown public housing estate in South Boston.
A second relative believed to be the long-lost “Uncle Omar” described in the book was beaten by armed robbers with a “sawed-off rifle” while working in a corner shop in the Dorchester area of the city. He was later evicted from his one-bedroom flat for failing to pay $2,324.20 (£1,488) arrears, according to the Boston Housing Court.
The US press has repeatedly rehearsed Mr Obama’s extraordinary odyssey, but the other side of the family’s American experience has only been revealed in parts. Just across town from where Mr Obama made history as the first black president of the Harvard Law Review, some of his closest blood relatives have confronted the harshness of immigrant life in America.
His aunt and uncle are two other close relatives who Obama didn’t mind using to craft his book, but hasn’t bothered to care for them even as his own success mounts. Is he really his brother’s keeper? If so, maybe we should all worry about an Obama Presidency… with his tax policies and “economic justice” we will all end up just like his brother, aunt or uncle.
Once again a pattern of Barack Obama’s character is becoming readily apparent. He has a pattern of associating with America-hating radicals (Ayers, Dohrn, Wright, Phleger, Khaldi), yet we are supposed to believe he doesn’t hold their views. He has a pattern of voting to raise taxes on the middle class, yet we are supposed to believe he won’t. He has a history of supporting and speaking about socialist ideas and praising Marxists and Communists, yet we are supposed to believe he is not a socialist. He has a history of suppressing questioners and dissenting voices, yet we are supposed to believe he supports free speech. He has a pattern of failing to answer questions and lying about his record, yet we are supposed to believe he will tell us the truth. He has a pattern of supporting late term abortions and infanticide, yet we are supposed to believe he values life. And he has a pattern of ignoring and neglecting his own family members in need, yet we are supposed to believe he is his “brother’s keeper” and will take care of the “American Family”.
If actions speak louder than words, Obama’s actions scream volumes. This man is a hypocrite and a fraud, and should not be elected President.
If Obama’s treatment of his aunt, uncle and brother are any indication, we cannot afford for Obama to be our brother or keeper and we certainly cannot afford for Barack Obama to become our President.
Barack Obama said this during an anti-war speech in 2002:
The consequences of war are dire, the sacrifices immeasurable. We may have occasion in our lifetime to once again rise up in defense of our freedom, and pay the wages of war. But we ought not?—?we will not?—?travel down that hellish path blindly. Nor should we allow those who would march off and pay the ultimate sacrifice, who would prove the full measure of devotion with their blood, to make such an awful sacrifice in vain.
Barack Obama said this last night:
Can you believe anything he says? Can we afford to elect a Commander in Chief he says troops are dying in vain when it serves his political purposes and then changes his tune on the national stage? Is it too much to ask that our next President have some integrity?

Check out this post from Sweetness & Light (H/T: Michelle Malkin), revealing Barack Obama’s real job before becoming a “community organizer”. He has quite remarkably embellished his work for the sake of his book and his political narrative. When one grossly exaggerates his past for political and financial gain, what does that say about his judgment? Give up a lucrative Wall Street job for the community organizer bit? Hardly.
It’s too much to quote, and too good to miss. Read the whole post with quotes from multiple co-workers of Barack Obama’s during this time.
Of course, this also shows how hypocritical Obama’s entire sanctimony about “politics as usual” was in the first place. People with principles stick to them even when it makes life tough. Hypocrites mouth platitudes but dump the pretty speeches for political expediency at the first sign of trouble. –Captain Ed at Hot Air
Barack Obama, who once campaigned against 527 groups and what he called “politics as usual” is now keeping silent on 527 groups. With just two months before the election, his campaign is apparently reversing itself on 527s, hoping “the calvary” will come to the rescue.
Just another item on the long list of Barack Obama flip-flops. I guess when you have your own logo and cult following you don’t need convictions.
Some people can use the n-word, some people can’t. Maybe there should be a badge or ID card or something… that way we all know who has free speech rights and who is committing a hate crime.
And don’t forget its not just the “n-word”. Jesse wanted Imus fired for calling someone a “hoe” but its ok for him to want to castrate Obama? Hypocrisy? You tell me.
If you haven’t figured out yet, Jesse Jackson is a pimp. Whether its the Rutgers Women’s Basketball team, the victim of a crime (real or contrived), some other American, or Barack Obama himself… Jackson uses other people’s experience for his own profit and spotlight. And if he can’t find someone else to pimp, he’ll do it himself… make some crude remark, and still manage to lengthen his own 15 minutes of fame. Until the media decides to quit giving this race-baiting hypocrite a podium, we’ll continue to hear from him every month or so, as he intimidates someone into giving him what he wants and strengthens the very racial divides he professes to want removed.
Jesse, how about you keep your mouth shut and try leading by example? What? No profit in doing the right thing?
Twenty years of listening to racist and hateful sermons wasn’t enough to drive Barack Obama to leave his church, but the heat of the Presidential campaign is. What a phony.
Here is the second Anti-Obama T-Shirt of the Day as promised. PHONY. Fake. Insincere. Hypocrite. Obama 08.
The Kentucky Brochure and the suspect timing of the John Edwards Announcement only add fuel to the fire that many of us have been feeling about Obama for a long time. This “hope” and promise of “change” and a “new candidacy” is all a fraud, just like everything else related to Obama. America deserves better, and he’s not it.
