I don’t support gay marriage, but I support our Constitution and the framework it provided more than I oppose it. Those simple facts are how I find myself in the precarious position of supporting Vermont’s acceptance of a legal construct that I otherwise morally oppose.

If Romney drops out of the race, or it becomes painfully obvious that McCain is a lock, it will become even more important to Write-In Fred Dalton Thompson if your state’s primary is coming up. Almost half of the country has voted, but there is another half to go. If the Republican Party [...]

Mike Huckabee has supported at least 3 different Constitutional Amendments during his campaign for the Presidency. Are you like me and scores of other Right-Leaning Americans who were leaning towards one candidate before realizing that Fred Thompson was the only true conservative in the field? My neighbors to the South are starting to realize that Fred Thompson is the best man for the job with a consistent message, sound policies, [...]

American Elephant sells some Fred Thompson Federalism t-shirts. The design is popular, but I’ve been asked more than once what “Federalism” was. I find that sad. Federalism is the antithesis of liberalism, as Federalism entrusts the states and the people with solving most issues, while liberals think national laws and bureaucracy are [...]
