In honor of our 44th President and the upcoming holidays, we now have two new Obama designs making fun of the empty suit who will soon have the nuclear codes. Call the 44th President, Barack Obama what he really is… A TURKEY. Perfect for the holiday season or anytime, get this Obama: Yes We Can Tryptophan design today.
So much for governing from the center, indeed. On top of President-Elect Barack Obama’s to-do list is reversing executive orders that prevented using human embryos for research and using tax dollars to fund abortions.
Obama plans to end the federal ban on funding for human embryonic stem-cell research (hEsc) and upend the Mexico City rule that forbids federal foreign aid to be used to promote abortion. He can expect a big controversy on both.
It appears Barack Obama has chosen the first fight of his Presidency, and if true, I hope all of you are prepared to fight him with me. I don’t equate “patriotism” with funding abortions, and I bet most of you don’t either.
While American voters feel some ambiguity on abortion, they overwhelmingly do not want their tax dollars paying for or facilitating abortions. The Mexico City rule forbade federal funds to be used to facilitate the acquisition of abortions by groups abroad, much as the Hyde Amendment prohibited federal funds to be used in the same manner domestically. If Obama rescinds it, he can expect a great deal of outrage from pro-life groups and a reopening of the debate over the use of tax money to procure abortions anywhere.
These aren’t exactly low-hanging fruit, nor are they the acts of someone who professed to find middle ground between pro-life and pro-choice groups. These are the acts of a pro-abortion absolutist, and they presage the sponsorship of Planned Parenthood’s Freedom of Choice Act. So much for governing from the center.
If its ok for Melissa Ethridge to stop paying her taxes because she is upset that Proposition 8 passed, than it is certainly ok for me to stop paying my taxes if they will be used to kill innocent babies. Of course if true, refusing to pay your taxes won’t be enough to stop this abomination… its only enough to land yourself in jail. There likely will be no way of stopping it, but we must try. And it gives further credence to the idea that we must start working to put Conservatives in congress NOW. We also need to use this to presuade all Christians and pro-life supporters who voted for Obama in 2008 to not make the same mistake in 2012.
People are already lining up to collect on the promises of candidate Barack Obama. And as I expect will continue during his tenure in office… most of them are going away unhappy.
The line was long and the crowd was angry at times.
“I want my money today! It’s my money. I want it right now!” yelled one former campaign worker.
A former spokesman for the Obama campaign said 375 people were hired as part of the Vote Corps program and said people signed up to work three-hour shifts at a time. Three hours of canvassing got workers a $30 pre-paid Visa card.
…
Eventually people did start getting paid, but some said they were missing hours and told to fill in paperwork making their claim and that eventually they would get a check in the mail.
“Still that’s not right. I’m disappointed. I’m glad for the president, but I’m disappointed in this system,” said Diane Jefferson, temporary campaign worker.
“It should have been $480. It’s $230,” said Imani Sankofa.
“They gave us $10 an hour. So we added it. I added up all the hours so it was supposed to be at least $120. All I get is $90,” said Charles Martin.
Lines of cash today… lines for bread tomorrow. Its going to be an interesting four years.
America is unlike any other nation in the world. Our desire to do good is so strong that we often bend over backwards and make unparalleled sacrifices because of our righteous intentions. Our brave men and women shed their blood so other people can be free. Our national treasure is given freely to foreign lands to offer hope and opportunity to the hopeless. And we forgive our transgressors even though they would never dream of turning the other cheek.
Only in America can the desire to do good be so great that we bend over backwards and elect someone whose own supporters admit they don’t even know. Only in America would we take a chance on an unknown with seriously questionable rhetoric and ties because we have faith in the greater good. Like our troops and our treasure, we risk it all on the mere hope of a better tomorrow.
I congratulate Barack Obama. He is my President. I pray that God gives him the strength and wisdom to make the right choices and the humbleness to know to ask. But as my President, Obama is also a paradox. He epitomizes both the best and the worst of our great nation. His political ideology offers a stark reality that is the very antithesis of what it means to be American, yet his story could not have happened anywhere else.
America proved it is both a naive child and an unequaled leader on the world stage. Only a child would have such blind faith and optimism when all realistic expectations point to a fairytale. Only a brave leader could have the courage to allow that optimism to lead the way.
Make no mistake, I disagree with virtually everything that Barack Obama stands for. But the symbolism of his achievement is something I will forever cherish. I congratulate him and his campaign on accomplishing such a novel and monumental feat.
And now it is time to lead. Young and old, from history through today… millions of Americans have paved the way for Barack Obama to become President-Elect. And he is beholden to honor their every sacrifice. He has promised a lot. He better live up to the hype.
As for the rest of us… Conservatives… it is time to lead. It it time to place principle and purpose above all else. It is time for the revolution to begin. You can choose to leave the Republican Party and go astray… or you can dig in, dig deep, and make it the party that it should be. Voters and providence will always be on our side if we can only find our way. For too long we have listened to pundits and moved to the center… for too long we have forgone values and principle for electoral expedience and easy compromise. But we should never compromise when we are right. We have to find that right path once again and never, ever give it up.
Its time for the revolution to begin. Its time for Conservatives to unite. America needs us. The unborn need us. Our troops need us. The Constitution needs us. Demcracy needs us. The economy needs us. The next generation needs us. They don’t deserve anything less.
When even the “rednecks” and the “racists” in Pennsylvania vote for a radical socialist black man to be President, then you can officially claim that racism in American is over.
NBC and the rest of the MSM ordered it, and the electorate followed through.
Now, as a nation, we must summarily end all Affirmative Action programs and abolish all “hate crimes” legislation. Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton need to look for new lines of work. Spike Lee must find new topics to make movies about. The BET channel must officially change its focus and moniker. And “African American” must be removed as a protected class from all matters of law.
The New Black Panthers can put down their night sticks, and Michelle Obama can proudly declare America is not angry anymore.
God Bless the United States of America. What other nation would look past a candidate’s radical socialist agenda and terrorist ties who has no experience and promises to destroy our Constitution and the very fabric of our democracy… all in an effort to make up for a racially insensitive past? No apologies could ever be as eloquent and no reparations ever as steep as giving up the very essence of America in order to atone for past sins.
Heaven help us all.
This story has just come out. Michelle Malkin is following it closely:
Reader Steve e-mails: “Just after 12:00 noon, Fox News reported that two black panthers were at one location in Philadelphia “guarding” the doorway to a polling station. One carried a nightstick and confronted a citizen who had gone in to the polling place. That citizen called police (he was interviewed by the Philly correspondent for Fox). The citizen reported that police removed the black panther with the night stick, but the other, who lives in the area, remains near the door.”
I hope this isn’t true. If true, I certainly hope it is an isolated incident. But the quotes and info on Michelle’s page make me wonder. Pay attention folks. This thing is likely going to get ugly tonight and tomorrow, no matter what.
Racial divisions are going to be more defined after this election or they will waste away to nothingness. While I hope for the later, I think the former is a much more likely prospect. Either way, its going to get a lot worse before it gets better.
…
UPDATE: How would you feel if this was the “security” at your polling place?
Welcome to the radicalization of America.
Obama’s ad attacking himself, or as I like to call it… Lies and the lying liar who tells them.

COLUMBUS, Ohio, Nov 03, 2008 /PRNewswire–USNewswire via COMTEX/ — Mike Carey, president of the Ohio Coal Association (OCA), today issued the following statement in response to just-released remarks from Senator Barack Obama about the nation’s coal industry.
“Regardless of the timing or method of the release of these remarks, the message from the Democratic candidate for President could not be clearer: the Obama-Biden ticket spells disaster for America’s coal industry and the tens of thousands of Americans who work in it.
“These undisputed, audio-taped remarks, which include comments from Senator Obama like ‘I haven’t been some coal booster’ and ‘if they want to build [coal plants], they can, but it will bankrupt them’ are extraordinarily misguided.
“It’s evident that this campaign has been pandering in states like Ohio, Virginia, West Virginia, Indiana and Pennsylvania to attempt to generate votes from coal supporters, while keeping his true agenda hidden from the state’s voters.
“Senator Obama has revealed himself to be nothing more than a short- sighted, inexperienced politician willing to say anything to get a vote. But today, the nation’s coal industry and those who support it have a better understanding of his true mission, to ‘bankrupt’ our industry, put tens of thousands out of work and cause unprecedented increases in electricity prices.
“In addition to providing an affordable, reliable source of low-cost electricity, domestic coal holds the key to our nation’s long-term energy security - a goal that cannot be overlooked during this time of international instability and economic uncertainty.
“Few policy areas are more important to our economic future than energy issues. As voters head to the polls tomorrow, it is essential they remember that access to reliable, affordable, domestic energy supplies is essential to economic growth and stability.”
The Ohio Coal Association (OCA) is a non-profit trade association representing the interests of Ohio’s underground and surface coal mining producers. The OCA represents nearly 40 coal producing companies and more than 50 Associate Members, which include suppliers and consultants to the mining industry, coal sales agents and brokers and allied industries. The Ohio Coal Association is committed to advancing the development and utilization of Ohio coal as an abundant, economic and environmentally sound energy source.
Around 50% of our nations electricity comes from coal. So when Barack Obama calls for bankrupting coal plants, and skyrocketing electricity rates it matters. It will matter when your already high electric bills goes up. It will matter when people in Ohio, Colorado, Indiana, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, North Carolina and elsewhere are looking for jobs. It will matter when the increase in energy costs cause the price of goods and services to go up, just like happened when oil prices rose to new highs this summer. It will matter when your stocks in energy companies drop, taking your retirement or pension plan with it.
Coal isn’t even the only energy source in Barack Obama’s sights.
No coal, no natural gas, no nuclear, no oil. Corn-based ethanol is a joke. What’s left? Super expensive energy made by unreliable wind, solar, geothermal, hydroelectric? None of the technologies are there yet, and even if they were, they are not reliable or efficient. The cost of moving away from sources of energy that actually work will be billions and billions of taxpayer dollars, loss of jobs for people in the energy sector and “skyrocketing energy prices.”
Sounds like a good prescription for a struggling economy and rising unemployment rate to me. Yeah, right.
Pay attention folks, this is real. Barack Obama admitted to a San Fransisco audience that he wants to use taxes to destroy companies and industries he doesn’t like. What’s next? If he will further destroy the American economy and energy sector in order to “bankrupt” coal companies, what will happen to our guns, fast food, bloggers, talk radio, non-union companies, small businesses?
Bankrupting coal companies is bad enough. It will destroy our economy, our electric grid and our family budgets. But it also points out an even greater problem with the fraud that is Barack Obama, who believes in an authoritarian governance that will destroy everything he doesn’t like. If he gets power, we will all suffer. Financially we will suffer. Jobs will be lost.
…
Bankrupting coal plants will be even more devastating to Ohio, Colorado, Pennsylvania, Kentucky, Indiana, West Virginia and North Carolina.
Not only will each of these states suffering drastically if Barack Obama “bankrupts” coal plants, but hundreds of thousands of jobs will be lost. Each of these states, and many others have large economies based around coal mining and coal-based electricity. If Barack Obama is able to “bankrupt” coal plants and cause energy prices to “skyrocket,” what will be next?
The parallels between this and Barack Obama’s rhetoric are striking. The logos even bare some resemblance (with a similar symbol on the cover of Bill Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn’s next book). Read the post for yourself and make up your own mind. But please, read it and think about it before you vote.
h/t: Stop the ACLU
It had to happen sooner or later. With the thought and speech police out, ACORN stealing the election, spreading the wealth and people threatening to go John Gault… the only thing left was a 1984 parody (or rather a parody of an Apple Computer parody of 1984). And here it is…

First all criticism of Barack Obama was racist. Now, if you criticize his ideas of socialism and don’t want to pay higher taxes to “spread the wealth around,” then you are “selfish“.
You know who is selfish? People like Joe Biden who makes hundreds of thousands of dollars off the backs of the American people and give less than 0.3% of that income to charity.
You know who is selfish? People like Barack Obama, a millionaire who claims to be his brother’s keeper, while his own brother lives in a shack in a violent town on less than $1 a month, and his aunt and uncle live in depravity.
You know who is selfish? People like Barack Obama and Joe Biden who want to take, by force, the money I have earned and hand it out to someone who didn’t earn it.
You know who is selfish? People like Barack Obama who says our troops are air raiding villages and killing civilians in order to propel his own desires for power. People like Barack Obama who vote to cut off funding for the troops in order to win over his left wing base to garner his party’s nomination. Living off the freedom of American troops and belittling their sacrifice for political gain is selfish.
…
You know who isn’t selfish? Hard working Americans who want to keep the fruits of their labor because they believe they can do more good with it than the federal government can.
I work hard to give my fair share to charity and my church, how dare Barack Obama call me selfish.
I used to own a business that employed people and offered them health care. Their income and benefits enabled them to put food on their table and pay their bills. How dare Barack Obama call me selfish.
I had to close my business because of the current economic environment, but I understand it is not the government’s fault nor is it their place to give me a handout. The American Dream is not the redistribution of wealth but the ability to earn it without impediment. How dare Barack Obama call me selfish.
John McCain spent five years in a POW camp where he was beaten daily. He has sacrificed more for this country than Barack Obama can ever understand. How dare Barack Obama call John McCain selfish.
Sarah Palin opted to give birth to a Downs Syndrome baby while Barack Obama supports allowing them to suffer and die. He thinks a pregnancy is “punishment“. How dare he call Sarah Palin selfish.
…
I am not a racist, I am not selfish, and I am not voting for Barack Obama.
Drudge says the Zogby has McCain up by one in its latest poll (that will come out tomorrow). Its getting tight folks, and we need everyone to keep up the fight. Call your friends, talk to your neighbors, volunteer, blog, donate, write the editors of your paper… AND GET OUT TO VOTE. If you haven’t voted yet, make sure you vote. This is going to be a tight election. Don’t take anything for granted. Every vote counts.
The Obama campaign shut down a station in Florida for asking tough questions, they shut down a station in Philadelphia for the same thing. They kicked three newspapers off the campaign plane whose editorial boards endorsed McCain. They haven’t encouraged the LA Times to release the video of Obama at a dinner with Anti-Israel and former PLO supporter Rashid Khalidi. They called taxes patriotic and just today said that people who don’t want to be part of a socialist tax system are “selfish”. The truth about Barack Obama is finally coming out, and it isn’t pretty.
We have a chance to save our nation this Tuesday. We can not give up the fight. Four years is a long time to regret your decision. Get informed, get involved, and vote John McCain.
We can win this fight.
“I won’t have to worry about putting gas in my car.
I won’t have to worry about paying my mortgage.”
Yeah, Obama’s going to take care of you, just like he has taken care of his own brother, aunt and uncle. Oh wait…
I feel sorry for this lady. I really do. She has bought into the Obama Messiah religion because that is all the media and the campaign is telling her. Vote for Obama and all your troubles will fade away. I wonder how she and her children will feel after three or four years when she is still worrying about putting gas in her car and paying her mortgage. WE ALL HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT PUTTING GAS IN OUR CARS AND PAYING OUR MORTGAGES. It’s called success and progress and it comes with a price. You have to work, continually, for the things that you want and need in life. The American Dream is the unrestricted ability to earn it, not the guarantee to get it without sacrifice.
