Our No Detroit Bailout T-Shirt was featured on the CafePress blog this evening. And just in case our point wasn’t clear, we also have a No Auto Bailout and a No Union Bailout Shirt. Get all three!

So far the auto bailout is on hold, but many members of Congress as well as the President-Elect are trying to push something through. If you are like me, you are wondering when will it stop. When will the government start asking us if we want to bail out every failed industry. It is our money, or have they forgotten?

First there was the Drill Baby Drill hat in the MoveOn/Gossip Girl ad. Now we have Spencer Pratt (from The Hills) wearing an American Elephant t-shirt. Who says Hollywood doesn’t tolerate Conservative view points? Ok, so maybe both cases were subtle attacks on our point of view… but when Hollywood doesn’t agree with you, it only serves as validation you must be on the right path.

Unfortunately that Palin for VP God, Guns, Glory shirt that Spencer Pratt is wearing was retired to make way for our Pro Life, Pro God, Pro Gun Palin for VP shirt. But you can still get our classic text-only God, Guns, Glory shirt, or one of our other McCain/Palin designs to show your support

MoveOn AND Gossip Girl Hate Me! Life is good.

MoveOn.org opposes General Petraeus, John McCain, Sarah Palin and Elizabeth Dole, among others. So when they add American Elephant to their list of targets, I consider myself blessed. How fortunate am I to be held in such praise-worthy company? The only thing that makes being hated by MoveOn.org sweeter is that they used Blake Lively and Penn Badgley to carry their message. I’m actually cool enough to be mentioned by Gossip Girl!! My life is now complete.

Yes, that is an American Elephant designed McCain Palin 2008: Drill Baby Drill hat in the MoveOn ad. You can find that hat and other great Pro-American, Pro-Drilling, Pro-Conservative and Pro McCain/Palin merchandise at the American Elephant store.

Our inbox is still overflowing with Palin requests and sales are still going strong. There are a lot of people excited about the McCain/Palin ticket, and if our traffic is any indication, our ticket should continue to rise in the polls. We couldn’t be more excited about Governor Palin for VP and it appears most of you agree.

On September 5, 2008, CBS’ The Early Show did a piece on the eruption of Palin merchandise since her announcement as McCain’s VP. And one of the items shown in the video is none other than an I Heart Sarah T-shirt from American Elephant (1:12 into the CBS video below, after you get through the ad).
