Will there be a backlash against Oprah? Maybe their should be. She’s made millions of dollars with a mostly female audience over the years. And she didn’t mind having Barack Obama on her show twice, or campaign on his behalf… but with a woman on a national ticket Oprah now refuses to have politicians on her show, at least until “after the campaign is over.”
OPRAH’S STATEMENT: “The item in today’s Drudge Report is categorically untrue. There has been absolutely no discussion about having Sarah Palin on my show. At the beginning of this Presidential campaign when I decided that I was going to take my first public stance in support of a candidate, I made the decision not to use my show as a platform for any of the candidates. I agree that Sarah Palin would be a fantastic interview, and I would love to have her on after the campaign is over.”
Reportedly, Oprah’s website is receiving large number of requests to have Governor Palin on her show. Yet the woman who once gave every member of her audience a Pontiac isn’t very receptive to giving them what they want now… time to hear from the capable Governor of Alaska and next Vice President of the United States.
Its her show, surely Oprah can do what she wants. But the viewers have a choice too… they can turn her off.

Thanks for throwing some more sexist stereotypes out there. The only women “mean as hell to other women” are the liberal women in the media trying to carry Barry Obama’s water for him. And guess what, most Americans see right through it.
This is an important time in this country’s history, which is why McCain/Palin is the right choice. What do you think is better… a guy who associates with terrorists, doesn’t seem very proud of his country, has ZERO executive experience, and supports throwing live babies in trash cans? A guy who called Iran a “tiny” country and no threat? A guy who wrote two memoirs by the time he was in his forties, whose only achievement is his own self promotion? A socialist who is not ready to lead, now or ever.
There is no time when Barack Obama would be right for our country, especially now. This is an important time in our country’s history and its time you Lemmings acted like it.
Obama would not be where he is if it were not for Oprah’s empire. Why has America given her so much power. It’s time to boycott. She is not the person people think she is.
