Some in the media and the right-side of the blog world are starting to call out politicians who are too afraid of the “angry mob” to hold a town hall meeting. But after hearing reports of Representative David Price’s staged town hall meeting with union thugs, I wonder what’s worse… no town hall or fake ones?
These “representatives” are like a bunch of little children playing hooky from school, hoping that if they hide long enough whatever assignment, test, or bully that frightens them will magically disappear. But we are not the playground bully, and this is more than a homework assignment or test. This is their job. This is their duty. This is what they were elected to do… to represent the people of their district/state and work on their behalf for the good of the nation. They can’t represent us if they remain secluded in the beltway bubble.
I learned in grade school that hiding from something doesn’t make it go away… usually it only gets worse. If I know that, if our children know that, why don’t our highly-paid elected officials know the same?
Right, left or center… every one of these bozos that doesn’t treat the American people with the deference and respect we deserve needs to be thrown out of office. Need to know where to start? May I suggest a few?

I got to say no town hall. At least with the fake one they are pretending to serve you; just like you can pretend to vote for them.
So you also believe the townhall done by Mitch McConell and John McCain where the only people there were from the medical community and by invitation only was a complete farce as well?
