Finally, the White House has done the right thing on something, and reversed its decision to release detainee photographs. The left is in an uproar, and it certainly would have been better had Obama & Co. not announced it was going to release the photos in the first place, but at least they’ve made the right decision now. If there were abuses, we need to deal with them, but without context and perspective, pictures can paint a different story than reality on the ground. The last thing our troops or the American people need are some photos to stir the pot of Anti-American hatred, and make the job for our troops even more difficult. Yes, some people likely made mistakes, but let’s not forget we are the good guys. Its not a matter of perspective, its a fact.
Good call Mr. President. A bit late, but good call nonetheless. Now let’s see you stick to it.
