What does this mean? The only insurance will be through the government. The only health care choices will be made by the government. Doctors’ decisions will be approved by the government. You don’t want Single Payer. It might sound good if you trust the government, but all you have to do is look around the globe and see what single payer really means. Waiting months if not years for rationed care. Having bureaucrats and bean counters deciding if you are worthy of care. Having the elderly and the infirm phased out of the system to save costs. It happens all across the world, and it will happen here if we let this these health care plans come to pass.
