No Indoctrination Here

We’ve warned about the indoctrination of our school children before.  Some Americans laughed.  I guess this doesn’t bother them at all.  Well, it bothers the heck out of me.  How warped are our priorities as a nation when we teach our school children its ok to hate the country and deplore its founding, and at the same time teach them to sing in praise of an individual President, who as they put it is “number one”?

It makes me sick.  And it would have made me sick had videos like this surfaced about George W. Bush as well.  Of course the liberal teachers would have never let that happen, quite likely they were disparaging Bush in the classroom.  But this is Obama, all bets are off.

Singing praise to a king should be reserved for church services.  You want to sing about our government, sing about our founders, sing about patriotism.  You want to pledge allegiance, pledge allegiance to our country.  Don’t pledge it to a man or sing your service to him like they do in North Korea or other totalitarian nations.  This is the United States of America, not the United States of Obama.  Teachers who don’t understand that distinction need to find other employment.

UPDATE: Michelle Malkin has more about this creepy video and the person behind it.  And yes, it was in a public school.

    Scary. Very, very scary.

We should open our own school. . .

Amanda, as long as you teach, I’m there.

As a product of the public school system, I want my child to have a similar experience… team sports, a diverse student body, a variety of opportunities, etc. But if this kind of thing was going on in his school I would give the teacher and principal a piece of my mind before pulling my child out. Private schools or home schooling are looking much more likely, luckily my wife and I have a few years to figure it out.

It is hard to hear what exactly they are saying, so I found the words to the fisrt song:

    mmm-mmm-mmm
    Barack Hussein Obama
He said that all must lend a hand
to make this country strong again

    mmm-mmm-mmm
    Barack Hussein Obama
he said we must be fair today
    equal work means equal pay

    mmm-mmm-mmm
    Barack Hussein Obama
he said we all must take a stand
to make sure everyone gets a chance

    mmm-mmm-mmm
    Barack Hussein Obama
he said red, yellow, black or white
all are equal in his sight.

    mmm-mmm-mmm
    Barack Hussein Obama
    YES!
    mmm-mmm-mmm
    Barack Hussein Obama

And here is the second one:

    Hello, Mr. President
    we honor you today
    For all your great accomplishments
    we all doth say “hooray!”

    Hooray, Mr. President
    You’re number one
    The first black American
    to lead this great nation!

    Hooray, Mr. President
    we honor your great plans
    To make this country’s economy
    number one again!

    Hooray Mr. President
    we’re really proud of you
And we stand for all Americans
under the great Red, White, and Blue

    So continue Mr. President
we know you’ll do the trick
    So here’s a hearty hip-hooray
    (incomprehensible) our President

    Hip, hip hooray!
    Hip, hip hooray!
    Hip, hip hooray!

“And it would have made me sick had videos like this surfaced about George W. Bush as well.</blockquote"

How about back in 2006 when school children from Gulf Coast states serenaded First Lady Laura Bush with a song praising the President, Congress, and FEMA for their response to, believe it or not, Hurricane Katrina? Politics?

    Our country’s stood beside us
    People have sent us aid.
Katrina could not stop us, our hopes will never fade.
    Congress, Bush and FEMA
    People across our land
Together have come to rebuild us and we join them hand-in-hand!

Couldn’ta had anything to do with strengthening them shirt sleeve rolled up and jet photo opts uh?

Thank You Massachusetts
