Responding to a heckler that was interrupting her point about the abysmal state of Government care in the UK, Rep. Bachmann stated quite simply “I’ve given birth here probably more times than you, sir.” Yes, she has. But her point about Great Britain’s health care is equally as valid.

Michelle Bachman is an idiot. Why you would back a moron is beyond me. We must have Obamacare, and we will, if we have to shove it down your throats. We will win, eventually.
Thanks for showing your true colors their Ike. Have you read HR 3200 or even some of the contents of the other bills circulating? Are you paying attention to what is actually being proposed? Do you know about Dr. Emanual or Obama’s own statements on Single Payer? Do you care?
I’m glad you want to “shove it down [Americans] throats”. You are just proving we are right to oppose political issues being discussed to our children and that you are not concerned with debate or the facts.
Michelle Bachmann is a patriot. We would be well served to have more people in Washington like her.
Aside from Bachmann’s often eccentric statements and theorems, there’s nothing in HR3200 that supports her talking points. HR3200 is not a replica nor was it drafted from that of The U.K Her continued false interpretations of the infamous pages of 425-430 (which was actually proposed by the GOP during the Bush era) have been debunked over and over and over. That simply doesn’t give her credibility in serious health care debate, regardless of a witty pregnancy zinger.
With that said, I’d really love to see a national televised debate between top Democrats and Republicans on this issue. Considering it’s likely the most polarizing topic we’ve seen in years, put the fear mongering, talking points, and innuendos aside and let’s have a real debate dealing with the facts. Allow folks to hear answers to questions that have been shouted down at town halls. But that’s not likely to happen because Big Insurance wouldn’t go for it. Even if it did, the GOP would fall short from a permissible nod from Rush.
