Van Jones Resigns…

…and proves he never had the integrity to work on behalf of the public in the first place.

With a childish temper tantrum, Anthony “Van” Jones resigned his position as Green Jobs Czar for the Obama Administration. Jones said he was resigning because “opponents of reform have mounted a vicious smear campaign against me. They are using lies and distortions to distract and divide.”

Vicious smear campaign?  Lies?  Distortions?  The leftist media is going to say this is a product of a right wing conspiracy.  You’ll probably hear some call it racist.  You be the judge.

Van Jones was a “rowdy black nationalist” before becoming a “communist”:

I met all these young radical people of color – I mean really radical, communists and anarchists. And it was, like, ‘This is what I need to be a part of.’” Although he already had a plane ticket, he decided to stay in San Francisco. “I spent the next ten years of my life working with a lot of those people I met in jail, trying to be a revolutionary.” In the months that followed, he let go of any lingering thoughts that he might fit in with the status quo. “I was a rowdy nationalist on April 28th, and then the verdicts came down on April 29th,” he said. “By August, I was a communist.

Van Jones helped form Communist Revolutionary Group STORM:

Van Jones is a 9/11 Truther who believes September 11th was an inside job:

• Van Jones was the 46th signer to a petition calling for an immediate inquiry into the attacks on September 11, 2001 which the signers believed the federal government allowed to happen.

Now tell me, does it sound like Van Jones was the victim of a “vicious smear campaign” or of his own words?  You’ve seen the videos above (and there are more).  You’ve read the quotes.  You’ve seen the petition.  Do you think this is the kind of person we need having a $30 Billion budget of your tax dollars?  Do you think this is the kind of person we need advising the President of the United States?  Do you think this is the kind of person that should have spearheaded Cap & Trade or create jobs for Americans?

I don’t.  Member of the President’s inner circle and close confidant Valerie Jarett thinks otherwise.
