WASHINGTON, DC – TOTUS died of a fatal fall July 13 at the Old Executive Office Building. He was 6 months.
He was born to Mr. and Mrs. T. Prompter on January 20, 2009 in Washington, DC.
During his short life, TOTUS was a loyal companion to President Barack Obama, providing assistance during prepared speeches and remarks. Ever the loyal supporter, TOTUS even accompanied the President during town hall style meetings and last minute press meetings. The President was never to been seen without his fiercely loyal pal TOTUS at his side. TOTUS was heavily recruited by the President shortly before the January 2009 presidential inauguration.
TOTUS is survived by his brother, also of the same name of Washington DC; and sister iPod of Buckingham Palace, UK. He was preceded in death by his parents.
The burial will take place 10 a.m. Friday at the Super Salvage, Inc. recycling company in Washington, DC. The family requests that memorials be made to fall prevention of the Orthopedic Foundation of America.
