We spent about an hour and a half at the Raleigh TEA Party this afternoon. Pregnancy and North Carolina summer heat don’t mix very well, so I’m very grateful my wife went with me and let us stay as long as we did. There were quite a few patriots out this hot Independence Day. Many were coming and going but a good majority appeared to be there for the long haul. Considering there was something going on outside the History Museum and the spot for the TEA Party was a bit hidden from view, I’m very impressed that this many people found it. I’m not great estimating crowd sizes, but both my wife and I agree that there were probably five hundred to a thousand people there (if not more).
Happy Independence Day everyone. Thank you for taking an opportunity during this holiday to take a stand for American values, prosperity, independence and free will. Check out the pictures below, and a short video at the end.

I entered the world during a Great Depression... Looks like I'm heading out the same way!
My favorite sign is the gentleman in the picture above. Honestly, much of the policies we are protesting won’t effect him much, but he has the wisdom to see what is happening, and the love for his country to take a stand.
