I’m a Governor Jindal fan. As such, I’ve watched videos of his speeches before. I’m not sure his delivery in the Republican Response was the best, but I’m not sure he could have done it any different. There was a fine line that had to be walked giving the “Republican Response” after Barack Obama’s first address to Congress. Jindal’s speech honestly seemed a bit too nice and a bit to simplistic. But had he attacked the Socialist movement of Obama’s first month in office, and the American people very well might have turned on him for not giving the great ObamaMessiah a chance. In liberal households across America, I imagine a collective groan coming from the mouths of the left in chorus with Oldermann’s own unprofessional sigh. If the only ammo Jindal gave them was that he was too nice or his cadence was too simplistic… then he did well.
The text of the speech on the other hand was very good. Process the words, read and analyze the transcript. Governor Jindal is exactly what we need in this country – a leader who appreciates the strength and promise of America, not a fraud who appreciates the promise of his own strength. Both come from America’s melting pot and next generation… but the difference in their ideals and values could not be in more contrast. Bobby Jindal loves America for what it was and should always be. Barack Obama wants to remake the country as he sees fit.
We don’t need to remake America… we need to return it to its purpose.
