If you’ve stopped by over the past 18 hours you might have noticed various degrees of weirdness. For that I truly apologize. A little glitch has prevented much of our posts over the past week or two. This kind of culminated yesterday with a simple lesson — don’t try to fix simple little glitches on your website when you are out of town, have a slow internet connection and no access to your normal resources, caffeinated beverages or favorite late-night snacks.
All of that is to say, no we were not hacked, and the Federal Government hasn’t come to shut us down… yet. I was trying to fix that little glitch that has made posting difficult… and that simple little glitch coupled with a simple little mistake by yours truly left the site in a mess. Like a good soldier, I had a backup. Unfortunately, away from my normal devices, I am stuck with painfully slow DSL access that made uploading the backup unbearable.
Next time I’ll make sure my most recent backup is always on the server, or better yet, I won’t go “fixing” simple little glitches when I’m away from home. Nothing is as simple as it seems.

Glitches or not, this site is – in my opinion – the ultimate conservative resource! Keep up the awesome work, and I hope you take that glitch down!
This blog site and Grouchy Old Cripple (http://www.grouchyoldcripple.com/) are my two that I have to check every day. Both are conservative, but the Old Crip loves to be as in-politically correct as possible–he is worth looking at!
On another note, I was wondering why I kept getting an unable to load message with this site the other day…Looking forward to more post.
