The left always claims to have a monopoly on tolerance, open-mindness, acceptance of free speech and willingness to listen to alternate voices. One only has to look at the past week to find proof.
A “so-called” reporter for CNN chose to be an activist instead of a journalist, attacking the Tea Party demonstrators she was sent to report on.
Other CNN and MSNBC personalities made sex jokes live on air in order to dismiss citizens who protested government deficit spending and redistribution of wealth.
Liberal actress Janeane Garofalo accused all of the Tea Party participants of being nothing more than racists who just hate “a black man in the White House”, and accused them of having no understanding of the original Boston Tea Party.
The Press Secretary dismissed the Tea Party protests and the President wasn’t even aware they are going on.
Elected officials also attacked Tea Party protesters, calling them despicable.
Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi dismissed the Tea Party protests saying that the protesters were “astro-turfing,” a phony political maneuver mastered by none other than chief Presidential adviser, David Axelrod.
The Department of Homeland Security issued a report warning that people involved in such fringe activities as supporting The Second Amendment, opposing abortion, or returning from serving their country pose a serious threat to our security.
At the same time the DHS report was becoming public, students at UNC Chapel Hill screamed, physically interrupted, and broke windows to protest a speech given by former Congressman Tom Tancredo. Mr. Tancredo’s offense? Accepting an invitation to speak on his opposition illegal immigration and tuition discounts for illegal immigrants. At least the “racist rednecks” at the tea parties were non-violent in their protests.

Did you see Tancredo interviewed on FOX News Saturday morning? He totally blasted the university and put more blame on the liberal professors who teach their libral bias to their students than on the students themselves (which, oh by the way, the professors were also yelling at Tancredo). He totally stood up for himself and let UNC have it.
