Yesterday I linked to the results of a study by Lord Monckton of Brenchley which concluded that the genuinely accepted proof of Global Warming in bunk. One commenter tried to discredit both the study and Lord Monckton himself, but apparently the commenter doesn’t share the views of the Physics and Society Forum of the American Physical Society.
In a posting to the APS forum, editor Jeffrey Marque explains,”There is a considerable presence within the scientific community of people who do not agree with the IPCC conclusion that anthropogenic CO2 emissions are very probably likely to be primarily responsible for global warming that has occurred since the Industrial Revolution.”
Adding further credence to the claims of Lord Monckton is Larry Gould, Professor of Physics at the University of Hartford who is also Chairman of the New England Section of the APS. Mr. Gould said that Monckton’s paper was an “expose of the IPCC that details numerous exaggerations and “extensive errors”.
It seems the tables are turning on Al Gore and the Global Warming Crowd. Maybe someone should have told this to Mr. Gore before his speech last night as he called for “$1.5 trillion to $3 trillion” to retool our energy needs into something that pleased him more.
Where is this money going to come from Mr. Gore? And how much of it will go into your pockets? If you want to look for reasons to be skeptical of climate research… Gore and his ilk are the first place you should look. An Inconvenient Truth? Maybe.
One Senator called Gore’s speech last night “ridiculous“. I couldn’t agree more.
