This story broke my heart and fueled a fury to work that much harder to end abortion once and for all. I caught Jill on the Laura Ingraham Show today and hearing it come from her own mouth was hard to take. For too long Christians and those with a moral conscience have idlely sat by while these animals murder children like cattle.

It is good to see so many have now decided to speak out against it and do something about it. As a mother already with a little one on the way I can tell you this; I never have the prenatal testing done for Downs or other birth defects. If God chose to bless us with a challenged child we would welcome that beautiful soul as the gift they were. How any mother could abort their child for this or any other reason is beyond me. Those tests are not even always accurate and perfectly normal babies are aborted because of false results.

When I was pregnant with our youngest, born last year, we were told that her skull and face had not developed normally. They ran and second and even a third ultrasound that confirmed the deformity. The doctor informed us we would have to consider our options. Knowing that she was speaking of an abortion we immediately let her know it was not an option.

We prayed and prayed, but we never once for even a second considered abortion; it is not within us and is against our religious beliefs as Catholics and humans. We requested a fourth ultrasound and the results came back perfectly normal. When our baby was born there was not one thing wrong with her, she was perfect. With all of their technology they can still get it wrong.

The logic of these mothers should be questioned, if they can murder an unborn child because they are handicapped, what are they capable of doing if a child they birthed became handicapped? Thank you for the post, no matter how hard the truth is to take.

  2. Women Need Not Apply.

[...] While NOW and the liberal left want to tell all women what they must believe and what their issues must be… Like John McCain, I believe women are smarter than that. The pick of Sarah Palin as the Republican Vice Presidential nominee says something to women that NOW and the leftists never would… it says women are individuals who can decide for themselves what is important. Just because you have a uterus doesn’t mean you have to believe in infanticide. [...]
